Hero Snow Months

I know the answer varies depending on seasonal snowfall and unpredictable warm ups but generally out in Colorado what month is typically a good window for East Coast 144x2 crossover sleds to make a trip out west? That window where its not packed up like riding asphalt but you're not getting buried trying to leave the parking lot.

March can still have some large snowfall.
April, May , June are good for short track sleds. U may not be able to access snow from the parking lots though. Sled deck or a small 2 place open trailer that u can disconnect from truck and turn around by hand. Most mountain roads barely have room to turn the truck around.
