KLIM mid layers offer breathability and insulation for use under a GORE-TEX shell, or in casual environments, to add warmth and moisture management with minimal bulk.
The most exciting new KLIM mid layers are the new Override series, including the Override Jacket, the Override Alloy Jacket and the Override Alloy Pant. All three garments use special 60-gram 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation, which has excellent breathability and moisture management properties, meaning it helps your sweat evaporate and keeps you comfortable. Combined with a stretchy, breathable fabric, the Override series garments are perfectly suited for high-output physical activities.
The Override Alloy Jacket and Pant both use grid fleece panels on the back, under the arms and in the lower legs instead of insulation. These two garments are specifically designed for use in a powersports environment where you want less bulk and great breathability in key areas – in this case, for accommodating boots and backpacks comfortably. Low profile waistbands and cuffs make all these pieces optimal for layering, while the casual styling makes them versatile for many situations.
For technical mid layers, lounging around the cabin, or for jogging on cool mornings, the Defender Hoodie, Defender ¼ Zip and Women’s Equinox ¼ Zip are also suited for a wide range of activities. The moisture-wicking poly/spandex blend fabric is lighter than KLIM’s popular Inferno series, making it excellent for hard physical activity while still adding some warmth. These mid layers all feature low profile stitching and cuffs for comfortable layering.
