Search For Snow: October 1, 2019

October 2019 Feature

Just about everyone heard about the major snowstorm in Montana early this week.

Listening to the news, you’d think it didn’t snow anywhere else but Montana. So we went on a road trip to see if any of that snow spilled over the Continental Divide into Idaho, specifically Island Park.

Yes it did. Maybe not a bunch but some is better than none. Once in Island Park we decided to drive to the top of Sawtell Peak (elevation 9,884 feet) and take in the views. Well, visibility got a bit cloudy the higher we went but the snow got a little deeper.

Here are a few pictures from our drive.
